We own a 1400Kg liquid ferro alloy casting capacity medium-frequency induction furnace which is capable of producing one metric tonne single piece finished casting. The furnace is connected to an 11 KV electric power from MSEB through a power transformer. It has two crucibles which operate alternately so that the downtime due to crucible maintenance is practically zero. The furnace can endure more than 1800 degree centigrade temperatures, making it capable of producing practically all kinds of steel alloys.
